Wilcoxson Elementary School

Wilcoxson Elementary School is one of eight elementary schools in Stratford, CT.  Our current student population consists of 365 students enrolled in kindergarten through grade six. We are committed to the continued growth and excellence of all students in our diverse population. Wilcoxson greatly benefits from its active and supportive PTA and Fathers Club organizations. Our dedicated and close-knit staff support each other in both their professional and personal lives.  

At Wilcoxson, we work to foster a supportive environment that promotes strong relationships among staff, students, and families. We implement meaningful, engaging instructional practices that develop students’ ability to manage their own learning.  We develop habits, skills, and mindsets that build students’ social, emotional, and academic competence. We create an integrated system of school supports that includes extended learning opportunities and community partnerships.
