We have a few great sixth grade children who could use the support and guidance of a positive role model.  1-2 hours per week per child.

We have a number of great fifth grade children who could use the support and guidance of a positive role model.  1-2 hours per week per child. Lunch group would also be beneficial. 

We have several fifth graders who could use additional support as they progress on their journey towards becoming a strong mathematician.  1 - 2 hours per week.

We have a number of great 2nd grade children who could use the support and guidance of a positive role model.  1-2 hours per week per child.

A few first grade children who could use the support of playing games and turn taking and guidance of a positive role model.

Nichols is seeking individuals to work one-on-one with a child to act as a role model and source of friendship and encouragement.  The school feels that a child will greatly benefit from having another positive adult role model in his/her life and hopes that the relationship will lead to increased academic performance, self-esteem, and emotional development. We feel that these caring adults will be making an excellent contribution to the quality of education in our school.  We are currently looking for support in grades K through grade 6.

The Crier is Stratford's only dedicated newspaper. We report weekly on all items Stratford, from elections, town meetings, environment, education, arts and leisure, people and more. We sponsored by Stratford Forward a 501 c 3 Non Profit whose mandate is to bring people together around issues, to strengthen our community.

We are seeking mentors to work with individual or small groups of our children.  We have opportunities to work with children from grades K-6.
