We have a few great sixth grade children who could use the support and guidance of a positive role model.  1-2 hours per week per child.

We have a number of great fifth grade children who could use the support and guidance of a positive role model.  1-2 hours per week per child. Lunch group would also be beneficial. 

We have several fifth graders who could use additional support as they progress on their journey towards becoming a strong mathematician.  1 - 2 hours per week.

We have several fifth graders who could use additional support as they progress on their journey towards becoming a strong reader.  1 - 2 hours per week.

We have a number of great 2nd grade children who could use the support and guidance of a positive role model.  1-2 hours per week per child.

We have several second graders who could use additional support as they progress on their journey towards becoming a strong mathematician.  1 - 2 hours per week.

We have several second graders who could use additional support as they progress on their journey towards becoming a strong reader.  1 - 2 hours per week.

A few first grade children who could use the support of playing games and turn taking and guidance of a positive role model. 

We have a number of great kindergarten children who could use the support and guidance of a positive role model.  1-2 hours per week for a lunch bunch group.

Nichols is seeking individuals to work one-on-one with a child to act as a role model and source of friendship and encouragement.  The school feels that a child will greatly benefit from having another positive adult role model in his/her life and hopes that the relationship will lead to increased academic performance, self-esteem, and emotional development. We feel that these caring adults will be making an excellent contribution to the quality of education in our school.  We are currently looking for support in grades K through grade 6.
